Five HS and JH students took home the largest prizes given away this afternoon in recognition of having raised their scores on the Spring NWEA testing over their scores in December. The big winner was Raelin Burrell, center, who won a prepaid $500 VISA card. From left, Kinzi Robinson won a $25 gift card to Buffalo Wild Wings, Stetson Giroux won a $25 Amazon gift card, Raelin and her new VISA card, Riley Martinez won a $25 gift card to Texas Roadhouse and Cambree Hornback won a $100 gift card from Amazon. Funds for the prizes were raised from community members. The purpose for these Prizes was to encourage students to do their best on each round of testing and push themselves to raise their scores each time. Many students won smaller prizes for raising their scores at least three points, and their names were added to a hopper for the drawing. Due to the threat of Severe Weather, the High School softball games today (Tuesday, April 1st) at Pioneer have been canceled.
RAK Week, also known as Random Acts of Kindness Week, is a new addition to our school this year that our Student Council wanted to try out to spread Kindness across our campus! Please support by taking part in our dress up days, our various events, and completing some Random Acts of Kindness. The week will take place March 31st-April 3rd.
Due to a schedule mishap, the Jh & Hs Slow Pitch games at Coyle today (Monday, March 31st) have been canceled.
Picture Day is tomorrow, Monday, March 31, for elementary school. We will take individual photos , class photos with their teachers and all elementary basketball teams and cheerleaders. Parents can use the Lifetouch packet their students brought home from class or go to Lifetouch.com and enter their students' name and the Glencoe Picture Day event code, EVT9ZKBXW, for the individual packages. Follow the directions on the menu to order your pictures. We will post the event codes for class pictures and basketball teams Monday.
JH and HS will shoot clubs and sports teams Monday. Students should listen for announcements Monday and be prepared to change into their team uniforms and go the announced location for their photos. We hope to take outdoor team photos on the baseball field, depending on weather and the condition of the field. Basketball and cheer pics will all be in the new gym.

Picture Day is Monday, March 31! Sports! Clubs! Elem Classes!
We will shoot spring photos of the elementary students as well as their classes and all their basketball teams and cheer. As we shoot individual pics, we will gather each grade together for their class picture with their teacher and then their basketball teams and cheer.
We will shoot HS and JH photos of the outdoor sports teams in their uniforms on the baseball field (weather permitting, there is a slight chance of showers forecasted). We will shoot JH baseball and softball before lunch and HS after.
High school clubs and organizations, basketball and cheer will shoot in the new gym after lunch when the ACT has been completed.
