The Elementary & Jh Basketball games scheduled for Monday, January 13th, at Wellston have been canceled. The games will be made up at a later date.
Glencoe Students Council is hosting a food drive for the next two weeks. Please support by donating non-perishable food items at our school or at the home basketball games during these two weeks.
The HS basketball teams will compete tomorrow, Saturday, January 11th, in the Varnum Winter Storm Festival.

The Depew Tournament has been canceled due to the Winter Weather.
Having some fun as we kick off the new year. The elementary staff had an underground dress up week, don't tell the students and see how long it takes them to notice. Monday was blackout out, Tuesday was Spirit day, Wednesday was flannel, and Thursday was pajamas. A few questioned the pajamas but none of the kids really caught on 😁
The High School basketball Tournament at Depew has been canceled for today. Revised schedules will be posted when available.
The 5-6th grade Lady Panthers competed for their 3rd win against Coyle this season Monday night at home. It was an exciting game with the Panthers winning, 20-14. The top scorers of the night were Addie Speer and Kinzly de la Pena, with 9 points each. Coach Speer said “It was a very physical game and these girls always give 100% and get after it.” The Lady Panthers have not been defeated this season with a record of 14-0. The junior high Lady Panthers beat Coyle by one point, last Thursday. It was exciting! Coach Sanders said, “We led the whole game, then gave up a three late to go down three within the last minute. We showed lots of growth in the ability to come back in the closing moments of the game. When things got really exciting in the final moments, we dug deep and kept them from scoring.”
The top scorer for the night was Miranda Morton with 19 points. Miranda was shooting layups left and right, some as a result of outstanding Panther defense. Coach Sanders went on to say that “the girls showed lots of resiliency in fighting all game.”

Junior Nola Ross and freshman Teagan Voight are the high school Students of the Month for October. Below, they were caught under an umbrella as Glencoe received some much-needed rainy weather recently. Nola and Teagan are known not only for their outstanding work in class but their many school activities and citizenship in the community.

Principal Brady Maxwell named Glencoe High School and Junior High November Students of the Month Monday. Below, senior Morgan Matheson offers junior Chance Waters an opportunity to see what he might look like with a mustache -- free of charge. If you know Chance, you know he very politely declined.
Kaelynn Gegen and A.J. Morrow, both seventh graders, represented the junior high. For some off-season fun, they played "Who's at bat first?" on a shovel handle, no less. Anyone know what that decades-old baseball ritual is actually called? -- By Panther yearbook staff.
